I just heard you in concert with the Chieftains at Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto. How I wish I understood Gaelic to better understand your songs. That lack though did not diminish the enjoyment experienced listening to you sing.
Is there any chance that you will be at the Shetland Folk Festival in April 2020?

Hi Kathryn, Thank you so much for your kind message. It was a great gig, you were a great audience from the get-go. I would love to play the Shetland Festival, I haven’t been there for a few years. Feel free to tell them they should book me! 😉

I can’t promise I’ll be there but if you check back to this website or my facebook page that’ll keep you in the know about future gigs.

Today was a good day – thank you! Alyth

Hi Mary Lou, Thank you for your email and introduction. I had intended to reply before now, but life has been busy. I was on Lewis when your email came in, with family. Are you enjoying your move? I know it’s become colder recently, but November in Scotland is one of my favourite months of the year. Crisp wintery mornings, fresh but dry.

I’m not sure about next year’s diary yet, but you can always find out via my website or on Facebook or Twitter. If you pop my name into a search box there, links should pop up.

Thank you for your kind words. I am on the road in Canada at the moment. Where are you from; I’m thinking North America. Am I warm?

      Kindest regards, Alyth
